Sparked. View Tube
Sparked, an exhibition of the poetry of Lemn Sissay, the first poet commissioned for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Overlooking the olympic stadium in View Tubes exhibition space. The installation was a response to the poem, ‘Sparkcatchers’. a poem referencing the pioneering industrial action of the women and girls which took place at the Bryant and May match factory- a seminal moment in trade union history.
I designed and built the exhibition for Jotta (Jotta was founded out of Central Saint Martins and is partnered to the broader University of the Arts London) using hundreds of matches.

Bodies Unfinished (Off West End Nomination Best Set Design)
Lewis Hetherington’s art funded play follows Alan’s journey from a loveless marriage through a devastating self-discovery where his optimism is destined only for isolation.
I created a sparse monochrome modular white cell. Set in any time and place. Clean, clinical wooden panelling, uncomfortable looking chairs and a leather bag that keeps returning, works for every location.
Jotta Publication
Jotta was founded out of Central Saint Martins and is partnered to the broader University of the Arts London.
On the release of Jotta's debut publication I was commissioned to design and curate there gallery space for a week of workshops with collaborators, artists, designers and makers, all inspired by the content within jotta's debut publication.
I designed the space using only cardboard boxes as a low-fi aesthetic.
Creating a square platform at the front to stage the publication which, was hanging from orange flex.
